Program Information

The Oklahoma City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. provides local programs that are centered around the Sorority’s Five Point Thrusts:

  • Economic Development
  • Educational Development
  • International Awareness & Involvement
  • Physical & Mental Health
  • Political Awareness & Involvement

The Oklahoma City Alumnae Chapter is responsible for the following programs, initiatives, and activities in and around Oklahoma City:

  • Delta Academy
  • Delta GEMS
  • Scholarship Event
  • Annual Scholarships
  • Delta Day at the State Capital
  • International Day Of Service
  • Support A Black Business
  • Support of Domestic Violence Center
  • Community Baby Shower
  • Gun Violence Seminars
  • Voter Registration
  • Breakfast for Milady
  • May Week
  • Project 13:  St Jude Walk

The chapter also supports and donates time, services, and goods to local schools, churches, and area organizations. Including, but not limited to, Oklahoma City Public Schools, NAACP, Urban League, Oklahoma City National Pan-Hellenic Council activities, and constant support of the sorority’s national projects (DREF, SEE, Collegiate/Alumnae initiative, AIDS Awareness).
